Prodigal Son

The Prodigal Son is a parable of a wayward son reunited with his father and family after having squandered all his inheritance through wasteful living.  Our kids and teens will learn of God’s overwhelming love and forgiveness for those who humbly repent.

Here’s a link where you can view a small portion of this video.

Our Scripture memory verse is:  “Forgive one another.”  Col. 3:13  The verse, located on our Scripture Memory Board is pictured in sign language which is a great way for our kiddos to learn Scripture!

Level 1 and Level 2 activities pages are available for your learners.

We have a great selection of Welcome Activities to get kids engaged in fun as soon as they walk in the door!  Kids can play “balloon baseball,” work together to play “ball toss” with the parachute, or participate in several minute-t0-win-it cup games!

We also have a Parent Take-Home page so parents know what their child is learning this month and they can help their child learn the Scripture memory verse.

Remember our ministry’s mission:  “To make our Special Friends Life Group the best 60-minutes of a kid’s week!”  Every Sunday that you serve and represent our Special Friends ministry you help to make this happen!
