Take The Next Step: Kindness Video

Jesus told the story of The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37).  One of the reasons Jesus taught this parable was in order to get people to think for themselves, there but for the grace of God, go I.  The point is that kindness and compassion come from the heart, and it is the heart where the seat of God is in man.

This month in our Special Friends Ministry we’re focusing on kindness and defining it as, “Showing others are valuable by the way that you treat them.”

We’re using the story of The Good Samaritan to introduce the virtue of kindness to our learners.  One of the best ways to teach this parable is by using videos to tap into the visual strengths of some of our learners.  Here is one of the two videos that we’re using (the other you can find on our Special Needs Ministry App).

Parents, you can watch this short animated videos with your child and use it as your bedtime story!
